AIMS provides end-to-end commercial ship management solutions. Our Chartering, Operations, Sales & Purchase, Technical Management and SQE teams offer integrated and seamless, high-quality and personalized services, with a focus on efficiency and flexibility.
Our Chartering Department has established solid, long-term relationships with our clients, built on trust, transparency and communication. Our charterers depend on us to provide flexible and reliable solutions and we offer a unique service, tailored to individual requirements, goals and concerns.
Our Operations department works to understand our clients’ needs and then adapts our service offering to them. We monitor vessels carefully throughout each voyage, and place emphasis on efficient, cost-effective solutions, based on best routing, weather considerations and trim optimization. We monitor our vessels’ performance closely and are always looking for ways in which to improve and innovate.
Our Technical department is focused on safety, compliance and efficiency. The preparation of ships and equipment for the requirements of specific routes and destinations is of paramount importance to our team and ensures that delays and off-hire are minimized. Our vessel performance management plan tracks fuel consumption and researches equipment enhancements to ensure the fleet is made up of clean, green, energy efficient vessels which run on reduced emissions. Frequent hull and propeller cleaning is a mainstay of our operations strategy, with immediate and tangible benefits including increases in speed and reductions in fuel consumption and emissions.
Improving the safety and environmental performance of vessels creates the basis for our ship management and operations model. Occupational health, safe and high quality operations, pollution prevention and environmental preservation are priorities of AIMS’s SQE department, which works closely with our other teams to monitor and promote these principles. The provision of a safe working environment is a responsibility we take very seriously. We achieve this first and foremost by ensuring our ships are in excellent condition. The next step is to provide training to all on-board and shore personnel with a view to building on their safety management skills. Our crew’s well-being and the identification and management of risks which may cause injury is of paramount importance and we work hard to establish safeguards and emergency protocols. AIMS is fully compliant with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
We are dedicated to investing in our people and offer a clear path to promotion and career development by rewarding performance and loyalty. Seamless communication between vessels and the onshore teams is a priority and ensures we are always ready with troubleshooting options and solutions. We are committed to the fair remuneration, retention and training of our shipboard personnel which allows us to operate vessels with highly qualified and capable crews. Our vessels are fully manned by Filipino officers and ratings.
AIMS actively cultivates a supportive working environment for our crew members and their families. We provide a year round medical hotline and offer job opportunities to several members of the same family where possible.
Through the personal improvement, development and growth of each member of the AIMS family, we ensure a safe and healthy working environment, the security of our vessels and cargo, the protection of the environment and a high quality service offering for our clients
